Everyone in this town needs therapy

Submitted by Junior Heffernan
Spotted: Crapstone (obviously), Devon, UK

I assume whoever came up with this place's name didn't actually live there himself, or the town was very drunk when deciding what to call themselves.

"Plymouth Problems"

Spotted: Bretonside Bus Station, Plymouth, Devon, UK

Drugs? Violence? Such little problems are of no concern to Plymouth. We've got bigger fish to fry. Namely, pigeons. They run this town.

I consider this pigeon the official mascot of this blog by the way.

Apostrophes: cost more than a pound it seems

Spotted: Poundland, Plymouth, Devon, UK

Morally Assessed Hair and Tan

Spotted: Plymouth, Devon, UK

When we have established your moral standing we'll decide if you deserve a good haircut or not.

Breakfast in India?

Spotted: Goodbody's all-day breakfast bar, Plymouth, UK

My dad once asked an Indian man what they ate for breakfast. His answer? Cornflakes.

Quick facts: India is a nation strongly associated with vegetarianism, an idea propagated by many strands of Hinduism, the main religion of India. Beef and pork are the two meets most commonly banned in Hinduism. 13% of all Indians are Islamic, a religion that prohibits eating pork. This is why most Indian meat dishes are chicken or lamb based.

All told, the odds of finding bacon in an "Indian Breakfast" outside of the UK are incredibly slim.

Challenge God?

Spotted: Plymouth, Devon, UK

The obvious gag here is that while God will gladly promise his followers a place in Heaven, he will not donate to them the gift of grammar. However there's more to this than that.

The last two lines are what raised a smile for me. "YOU TRY AND STOP HIM". That sounds like the kind of challenge someone in Tekken or Street Fighter might throw down before kicking someone's ass, not something you'd do when convincing someone to join your faith.

Got moles?

Spotted: Ivybridge, Devon, UK

Next time I have problems with a major mole infestation, I know who to call. The Ghostbusters will be so glad that I can finally stop asking them to deal with the problem.
